A planning aid for block puzzles
To make it easier to review a difficult board before choosing a move, Block Blast Solver offers a free browser-based tool with no registration required. You can select a screenshot for recognition or use the manual board builder to mark occupied cells. Screenshot recognition and board calculations run in your browser. The tool considers the board and three pieces you select or confirm, applies legal placements and line clears, then ranks move sequences with a board-space heuristic. Its result is a suggestion to consider, not a command or a prediction of what will happen in a game.
The screenshot workflow is designed to help with setup, but recognition depends on image clarity and the way a board appears in a particular screenshot. Cropping, contrast, colors, animation, overlays, or a partially visible piece can affect what the detector finds. A clear image may be matched automatically; an uncertain match should be reviewed. The editable board lets you correct occupied cells, and the piece controls let you choose a preset or draw a shape. Please compare the displayed board and every piece with your game before asking the solver to rank moves. If the image route is not useful, the manual builder is available as another way to enter the same information.
How suggestions are produced
Once the board and pieces are set, the solver checks placements that fit the current cells and considers how clearing complete rows or columns changes the available space. Its ranking uses heuristic preferences to compare resulting board states. A heuristic is a practical scoring method for ordering candidate moves; it is not the game’s official score formula and does not know which pieces may appear later. Different choices can be reasonable depending on what you value, and the available information covers only the board and pieces entered for that solve. Use the sequence to explore options, learn how a move affects open space, or check a plan you already have. Your own judgment remains part of play.
The tool does not promise a winning move, a particular score, or a complete solution for every possible board. A recommendation can be affected by an incorrectly recognized or entered cell, the heuristic’s priorities, and future game events the tool cannot see. If a suggestion appears inconsistent with the board, first check the entered cells and piece shapes; you can edit them and run the comparison again.
